15th IIF Workshop

Introduction

 

The 15th International Institute of Forecasters (IIF) sponsored workshop focuses on the advanced methods of tourism forecasting and their applications.  It will be held in Hong Kong on Monday 29 June 2015, one day prior to the 5th Conference of the International Association for Tourism Economics (IATE 2015).  The workshop is organised by Professor Haiyan Song, Chair Professor of Tourism of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.  All speakers are renowned academics in the field of tourism forecasting.  The program agenda is now available.

Registration Fee

 

The registration fee for the workshop is USD 100 (HKD 780).  Fee includes registration, coffee breaks, and lunch.  Participants of the IATE 2015 enjoy a 50% discount on the registration fee (i.e., USD 50 / HKD 390).

 

 

Payment Methods

 

Online Credit Card Payment

Online credit card payment is highly recommended.  You will be redirected to the Event Payment Menu of the Online Credit Card Payment system after completing the online registration form.  VISA, Master, and CUP Cards (China UnionPay Card issued by banks in the Chinese Mainland, and specified UnionPay credit cards issued in Hong Kong and Macau – see more) are accepted.

 

At the Event Payment Menu, click the “Others” tab and press “Proceed to pay” next to “The 15th International Institute of Forecasters (IIF) Workshop” hosted by SHTM.  Complete the payment details and enter the correct amount of registration fee in Hong Kong dollars.  Follow the instructions to proceed.

 

For successful payment, the payer will receive a confirmation e-mail which will also be regarded as an official receipt.

 

Cheque/ Bank Draft

Crossed cheque or bank draft in HK dollars or US dollars made payable to “The Hong Kong Polytechnic University” should be sent by post to the address below after completing online registration. Please indicate the cheque/ bank draft number on the online registration form and write the registrant’s name at the back of the cheque/ bank draft. The scanned receipt will be sent to the registrant’s e-mail and the original copy will be collected at the reception desk of the conference.
